The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.”But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.”
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end.For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”
Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.Do not add to or subtract from these commands I am giving you. Just obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you.

For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’For the Lord gave us this command when he said, ‘I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’
So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life. But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.

For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices.
Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.
If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector. If the person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. Then if he or she won’t accept the church’s decision, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector.

Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity!
