God (2/4)

I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. You know no God but me, nor any savior other than me.I have been the Lord your God ever since I brought you out of Egypt. You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.
Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.
Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.
However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.
Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.
To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.
Arise, O Lord! Lift up your hand, O God! Do not forget the afflicted.Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes.I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.
In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes.Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.
Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.”He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”
May God continue to bless us and be revered to the ends of the earth.Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.
Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.
Beloved, since God loved us so much, we should love one another.Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
God is our refuge and our strength, a well-proved help in times of trouble.God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?
As a deer longs for running streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.
O God, you are my God, for whom I have been searching earnestly. My soul yearns for you and my body thirsts for you, like the earth when it is parched, arid and without water.O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.
For you, O God, have put us to the test; you have purified us as silver is refined. You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.
You, O Lord, are light for my lamp; O my God, you make my darkness turn to light. You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a resolute spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
