Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me? | I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything impossible for me to accomplish? |
The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever. | The grass may wither and the flower may fade, but the word of our God will endure forever. |

Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. | Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows. |
God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it. | When God saw by their actions that they had turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not inflict upon them the punishment that he had threatened. |
What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
Yahweh God made garments of animal skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them. | The Lord God made clothing for the man and woman out of animal skins and he clothed them. |
