Chinese (traditional)- But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
- We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
- Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
- But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
- Trust in Yahweh, and do good.
Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. - Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?
- By faith even Sarah herself received power to conceive, and she bore a child when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had promised.
- For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
- But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
- Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good.
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
- Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,
for his loving kindness endures forever. - Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
- For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good. - Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
equity and every good path. - If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.
- Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
- Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A man’s heart plans his course,
but Yahweh directs his steps. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you,
and through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned,
and flame will not scorch you.Next verse! With image
