- For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
- And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
