Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.Only goodness and kindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever.
For the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true. For light produces all goodness and righteousness and truth.
O how abundant is your goodness that you have laid up for those who fear you, and accomplished for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of everyone! How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.
By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.In view of all this, you should make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with piety, and piety with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.
Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness' sake, O Lord!Be mindful, O Lord, that mercy and kindness have been yours from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my many transgressions, but remember me in your kindness, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord.
His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
For he satisfies the thirsty, and the hungry he fills with good things. He has satisfied the thirsty and filled the hungry with good things.

So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”
The Lord is good, a stronghold in a day of trouble; he protects those who take refuge in him.The Lord is good, an unfailing refuge in a time of distress. He takes care of those who place their trust in him.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.

“All things are lawful,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.“All things are lawful,” you may say—but not all things are beneficial. All things may be lawful—but not all things are constructive.
And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works.
No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.Nor would someone light a lamp and then put it under a basket; rather, it is placed upon a lampstand so that it may afford light to all in the house. In the same way, your light must shine so that it can be seen by others; this will enable them to observe your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven.
