| The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound. | The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to announce good news to the oppressed, to strengthen the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to those held in captivity and release to those who have been imprisoned. |
| He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’ | This is ‘the stone rejected by you, the builders, that has become the cornerstone.’ |
