- For you, God, have tested us.
You have refined us, as silver is refined. - I thank you and praise you,
O God of my fathers,
who have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we desired of you;
for you have made known to us the king’s matter. - Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
- Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,

Haven’t you heard?
The everlasting God, Yahweh,
the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint.
He isn’t weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. - You have also given me the shield of your salvation.
Your right hand sustains me.
Your gentleness has made me great.
You have enlarged my steps under me,
My feet have not slipped. - My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - My lips shall shout for joy!
My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you! - For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well. - This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
- Those who know your name will put their trust in you,
for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.
- Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.
- Since you have been precious and honored in my sight,
and I have loved you,
therefore I will give people in your place,
and nations instead of your life. - But I will sing of your strength.
Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning.
For you have been my high tower,
a refuge in the day of my distress. - But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land? While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”
- Yahweh, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
- So you shall know wisdom to be to your soul.
If you have found it, then there will be a reward:
Your hope will not be cut off. - Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
- Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
- If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.

- His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
- The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it.
- He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
- Arise, shine; for your light has come,
and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you! - He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.
- Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. - He who is slow to anger has great understanding,
but he who has a quick temper displays folly. - No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.
- Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.
- No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
- Let everything that has breath praise Yah!
Praise Yah! - He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.
- He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him!”
- For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.
- Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
- He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
- God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should repent.
Has he said, and he won’t do it?
Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good? - If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
- If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
- He who hides hatred has lying lips.
He who utters a slander is a fool. - This is the day that Yahweh has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it! - But he knows the way that I take.
When he has tried me, I will come out like gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps.
I have kept his way, and not turned away.
