- For You have put us to the test, God;
You have refined us as silver is refined. - To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
For You have given me wisdom and power;
Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s matter. - Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
- How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of mankind! - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
- Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
- Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is unsearchable. - I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have nothing good besides You.” - My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You;
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - For You created my innermost parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well. - And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. - When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow!
- Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I get up;
You understand my thought from far away. - And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
- Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You.
- Since you are precious in My sight,
Since you are honored and I love you,
I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life. - But as for me, I will sing of Your strength;
Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,
For You have been my refuge
And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. - But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”

For You have worked wonders,
Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. - Know that wisdom is the same for your soul;
If you find it, then there will be a future,
And your hope will not be cut off. - Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
- Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
- Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
- And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.”
- But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
- His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’
- The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned.
- Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. - For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good. - And he would answer and say to them, “The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.”
- That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.
- Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. - Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
- The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.
- No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- The Lord God is my strength,
And He has made my feet like deer’s feet,
And has me walk on my high places. - The one who has found his life will lose it, and the one who has lost his life on My account will find it.
- Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.
- But just as it is written:
“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the human heart,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.” - For whoever has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
- The vine has dried up
And the fig tree has withered;
The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree,
All the trees of the field have dried up.
Indeed, joy has dried up
From the sons of mankind. - He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, without the possibility that mankind will find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
- Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
- In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
- If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
