| If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. | And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. |

| But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life. | But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. |
| So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. | As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. |
