The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. | The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. |
And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. | ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. |
