| But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. | And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him. |

| The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. | The Lord redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt. |

We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. |

| And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. | And having been perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him. |
| Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. | So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made to God intensely by the church. |
| But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. | But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. |
| Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. | Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. |
| He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. | The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. |
| Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. | Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. |
| Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. | By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit. |
| He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. | And he would answer and say to them, “The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.” |
| Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. | Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who wait for His faithfulness. |
