and bringeth him before great men. - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
- Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.

a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
- But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
- Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
