If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.If you know me, then you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him. You have seen him.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.”
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.The one who eats everything must not look contemptuously on the one who does not, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed both.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.Behold, he is coming with the clouds; every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. All the peoples of the earth will mourn him. So shall it be. Amen.
I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.I lifted up my voice in prayer to him; his praise was on my tongue.
And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they placed it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. Then, bending the knee before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.A gift opens doors for the giver and wins him access to the powerful.
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.Seek the Lord while he still may be found; call to him when he is close at hand.
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.To him all the Prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.In my anguish I cried out; the Lord heard my plea, and I was saved from all my troubles.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.This is the message that we have heard from him and that we declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes.
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God.

And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.And now, dear children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming.
