- For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.

So it is to be. Amen. - All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
- This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.
- He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?
- For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

call upon him while he is near. - For God alone my soul waits in silence,

from him comes my salvation. - From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul.
- Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
- And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming.
- Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts;
so I am helped, and my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him. - And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” - May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him. - Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
- Happy are those who keep his decrees,
who seek him with their whole heart. - The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. - While Peter was kept in prison, the church prayed fervently to God for him.
- Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
- God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”
- Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
- Therefore keep the commandments of the Lord your God, by walking in his ways and by fearing him.
- And having been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
- But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.
- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.
- For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him. - As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - Therefore God also highly exalted him
and gave him the name
that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bend,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
