- For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.
- The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - The saying is sure:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him. - The Lord is with you, while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.
- All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being.
- If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- The Lord your God you shall follow, him alone you shall fear, his commandments you shall keep, his voice you shall obey, him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast.
- I cried aloud to him,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they put it on his head. They put a reed in his right hand and knelt before him and mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- Look! He is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail.
So it is to be. Amen. - Seek the Lord while he may be found,
call upon him while he is near. - From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul.
- This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.
- He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?
- For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him. - For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation. - May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him. - For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming.
- And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts;
so I am helped, and my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him. - Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
- The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous ordinances. The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a warrior who gives victory;
he will rejoice over you with gladness,
he will renew you in his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.Next verse!With image
