For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.
But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts.Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
So obey the commands of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and fearing him.You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness.
I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death.That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death.
Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.
Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth.
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
But when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost. They were all terrified when they saw him. But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage! I am here!”But they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.”
We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.

After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
