Him37paul (3/4)

“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.
The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.
Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.
But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.
Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.
He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”John replied, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.”
He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy. But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.
By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.
Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.So obey the commands of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and fearing him.
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.
The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.
If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive. Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
