- You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.
- If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.
- Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
- Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
- Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
- I cried to him with my mouth.
He was extolled with my tongue. - They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him. They braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him and mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- A man’s gift makes room for him,
and brings him before great men. - Seek Yahweh while he may be found.
Call on him while he is near. - What is man, that you think of him?
What is the son of man, that you care for him? - My soul rests in God alone.
My salvation is from him. - This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.
- This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
- Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
for my expectation is from him. - Whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- God will bless us.
All the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
- Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
- He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
