For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life? | For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul? |
For Yahweh’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness. | For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in faithfulness. |
If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless. | If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless. |
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks. | The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart. |

By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made: all their army by the breath of his mouth. | By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their lights. |
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. | And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. |

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? | Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? |
Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before. | The Lord also restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased double all that Job had. |
For the Son of Man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. | For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. |
