| We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. | Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. |

| And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” | And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. |
| For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love. | For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. |
| Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me. | Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. |
