Chinese (traditional)- And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
- Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands. - Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble. - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
- But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
- Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
- But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble. - If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
- “And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.” - Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
- If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
- To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
- For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
- May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
- Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good. - You are altogether beautiful, my darling;
there is no flaw in you. - In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
- He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. - You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
- The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
