I want you (2/4)

Do I derive any pleasure from the death of the wicked? asks the Lord God. Would I not rather rejoice to see them turn away from their wickedness and live?“Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?”
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you may ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
So shall my word be that issues forth from my mouth. It will not return to me unfulfilled, but it will accomplish my purpose and achieve what I sent it forth to do.So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
I also ask that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing. They should be adorned not with braided hair or with gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good works, as is fitting for women who profess their reverence for God.In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
Then he said to all who were with him, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.”Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
This rather is the type of fast that I wish: to loosen the fetters of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to set free those who are oppressed and to break every yoke.Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?
Even when you reach old age I will still be the same. Even when your hair is gray, I will still carry you. I have made you and I will uphold you; I will carry you and save you.Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you will all perish as they did.I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth: it is better for you that I depart. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, whereas if I go, I will send him to you.Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
When I am terrified, I place my trust in you.Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should also love one another.A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
Therefore, I say to you: ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
I know how to live with little, and I know how to live with plenty. In any and all circumstances, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and give you help, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding but only delights in expressing his own opinions.A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid.Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
You have already been cleansed by the word I have spoken to you.You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
For I, the Lord, am your God and I grasp your right hand. It is I who say to you, Do not fear; I will help you.For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’

If you would seriously consider my reproof, I would pour out my thoughts to you and make my precepts known to you.Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
