- He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

- For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
- If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
- My son, if your heart is wise,
My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself. - Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
- For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend,
Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. - He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
- The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
- If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
- Whoever hides hatred has lying lips,
And whoever spreads slander is a fool. - And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
- Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
- Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
