- Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge:
but he that hateth reproof is brutish. - The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
- My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.Next verse!With image
