It is rash to pledge a sacred gift, or to make a vow and then have second thoughts.It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!” And after the vows to make inquiry.
How wonderful and delightful it is for brothers to live together in unity.Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to live together in unity!

So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, what can be done to make it salty once again? It is no longer good for anything, and thus it is cast out and trampled underfoot.You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.
At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it.For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

You have not lied to men, but to God.”
But what I tell you is this: Do not swear at all, either by heaven, since it is God’s throne, or by earth, since that is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, since that is the city of the great King.But I say to you, take no oath at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God, nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
As much as possible, and to the extent of your ability, live in peace with everyone.If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his very life?For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
It is honorable to avoid strife, but every fool is quarrelsome.Avoiding strife is an honor for a person, But any fool will quarrel.

Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
You intended to do evil to me, but God decided to make it serve a good, to fulfill that which today has come true: to keep alive a numerous people.As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
I will place my rainbow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.I have set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.
