Jesus then said, “I will remain with you only for a short time longer, and then I shall return to him who sent me.” | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. | When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. |

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. | For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. |
Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires. | But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. |

Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” | Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. |
Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.” | Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. |
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. |
God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. | God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. |
Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen. | But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. |
Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.” | Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. |
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his garments. | Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. |
Jesus replied, “This is the work of God: to believe in the one whom he has sent.” | Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. |
Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus. | Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. |
Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.” | Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. |
Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy times seven.” | Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. |
But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. | But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
Through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves in Christ. | For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. |
Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” | And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. |
Who indeed conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? | Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? |
And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. | And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. |
