Jesus knows your works (3/4)

For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
Therefore, prepare your minds for action. Be calm and fix your hopes completely on the grace that you will be granted at the revelation of Jesus Christ.Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
Jesus replied, “This is the work of God: to believe in the one whom he has sent.”Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret.Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Who indeed conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
Jesus then said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
And every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord.And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
He gave himself for us in order to deliver us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people as his own who are eager to do good.Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus.I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Jesus then said, “I will remain with you only for a short time longer, and then I shall return to him who sent me.”Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”

And eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ.Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
