Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. | Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.” |
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. | For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. |

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. | From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” |

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. | But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. |
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. | Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. |
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. | Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. |
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. | God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. |
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. | Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah. |

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. | Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” |
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. | He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
