- After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
- I made a covenant with my eyes
not to look lustfully at a young woman. - I know that my redeemer lives,

forsakes the fear of the Almighty. - Blessed is the one whom God corrects;

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
may the name of the Lord be praised.” - The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
- But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
My feet have closely followed his steps;
I have kept to his way without turning aside. - Because I rescued the poor who cried for help,
and the fatherless who had none to assist them.
The one who was dying blessed me;
I made the widow’s heart sing.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.Next verse!With image
