Chinese (traditional)- I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
- Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
- Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
- Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
- A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
- By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
- Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
- My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
- Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
- Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
- Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
- And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- If you love me, keep my commands.
- And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
- I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
- Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
- I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.Next verse!With image
