Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:23	Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.” love obedience Father
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5	I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing. reward Jesus dependence
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7	If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you may ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. reward Jesus Word of God
By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. John 15:8	By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. Father following evangelism
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. John 15:10	If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. law love Jesus

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. John 15:13	No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends. love sacrifice friendship
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. John 15:16	You did not choose me. Rather, I chose you. And I appointed you to go out and bear fruit, fruit that will remain, so that the Father may give you whatever you ask him in my name. obedience prayer calling
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. John 15:18	If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you. persecution Jesus world
But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. John 16:8	And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. Holy Spirit mediator sin
Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24	Until now, in my name, you have not asked for anything. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. reliability joy receiving
I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father. John 16:28	I came from the Father and have come into the world. Now I am leaving the world and returning to the Father. Father world ascension
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33	I have told you this so that in me you may be in peace. In the world you will endure suffering. But take courage! I have overcome the world. encouragement peace overcoming
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3	And eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ. eternal life God Jesus
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. John 17:15	I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to protect them from the evil one. safety mediator evil
Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.

Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went inside, and he saw and believed. They still did not understand the Scripture indicating that he must rise from the dead.
