Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; The simple pass on and are punished.
If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.
But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.
So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
It is to one’s honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.It is honorable for a man to stop striving, Since any fool can start a quarrel.
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.
