Bible Verses about 'Known'

  • Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things.
Make known his praise around the world.
  • If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!
  • The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all.
  • Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.”
  • In this way, I will show my greatness and holiness, and I will make myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
  • Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.
  • Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done.
  • Come and listen to my counsel.
I’ll share my heart with you
    and make you wise.
  • I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors,
for you have given me wisdom and strength.
You have told me what we asked of you
and revealed to us what the king demanded.
  • I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.
  • A fool is quick-tempered,
but a wise person stays calm when insulted.
  • For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
  • O Lord, you have examined my heart
    and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
  • No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
  • Have you never heard?
    Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
  • We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
  • The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
    The skies display his craftsmanship.
    Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
  • People with integrity walk safely,
but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.
  • In that wonderful day you will sing:
“Thank the Lord! Praise his name!
Tell the nations what he has done.
Let them know how mighty he is!”
  • Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.
  • Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the law of Moses could never do.
  • Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
  • You will show me the way of life,
granting me the joy of your presence
and the pleasures of living with you forever.
  • You know what I long for, Lord;
    you hear my every sigh.
  • Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
