| Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. | For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. |
| So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. | Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. | A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. | No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed.
