Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor. | Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. |

Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom. | Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. |

Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free. | The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. |
No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it. | There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. |
