- O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

- Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let thy glory be above all the earth. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
- Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications. - In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
- Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
- Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
- Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
- But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
- Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
- My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
- Ponder the path of thy feet,
and let all thy ways be established.
And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
