- O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- But let judgment run down as waters,
and righteousness as a mighty stream. - Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Let all your things be done with charity.
- Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let thy glory be above all the earth. - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
- For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications. - Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth.
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.Next verse!With image
