- Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Let your glory be over all the earth! - Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.

- And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy! - On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
- Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
- Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

- Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
- Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.
- This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
- Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
- Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God!
Let your good Spirit lead me
on level ground! - And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
- Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
- Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.
- Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
