- Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
- Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
- This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
- Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
- Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
whoever is discerning, let him know them;
for the ways of the Lord are right,
and the upright walk in them,
but transgressors stumble in them. - My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart. - Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
- Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy! - Make your face shine on your servant;
save me in your steadfast love! - And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
- On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
- Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.
- Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.
- Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
- Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.
- Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
- However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
- But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
- Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.Who is this King of glory?
