- Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;

in your righteousness deliver me. - If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory shine over all the earth. - Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives
do I give it to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled;
be not afraid. - Dear children,
let us love not in word or speech
but in deed and truth. - If you are angry, do not sin. Do not let the sun set on your anger, and do not give the devil an opening.
- So we must not fall asleep as the others do, but we must stay alert and sober.
- Sing praise to the Lord for his mighty deeds;
let this be known throughout the entire world. - Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;
the upright walk in them,
but sinners stumble. - Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
- And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.

- Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cries of supplication. - Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your kindness. - And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”
- On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - Everything that you do should be done in love.
- Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
- This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us exult and rejoice in it. - Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
- Beloved,
let us love one another,
because love is from God.
Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. - Let no foul word ever pass your lips. Say only what is useful for edification, so that your words may benefit your listeners.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your gracious Spirit lead me
along a level path. - Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe.
- Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.
- Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.
- At dawn let me experience your kindness,
for in you I place my trust.
Show me the path I must walk,
for to you I lift up my soul. - For:
“If anyone wishes to love life
and to experience good days,
he must restrain his tongue from evil
and his lips from deceitful speech.
He must turn away from evil and do good,
seek peace and pursue it.” - Let mutual love continue, and do not forget to offer hospitality to strangers, for by doing this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that weighs us down and the sins that so easily distract us and with perseverance run the race that lies ahead of us.
- Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for those who are immoral and adulterers will have to face God’s judgment.
- My son, concentrate attentively on my words;
pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you.
Do not let them slip from your mind;
keep them forever in your heart. - Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help.
- Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart
find favor in your sight,
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Restore us, O Lord of hosts;
let your face shine upon us,
and we will be saved. - Now let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful in your judgments, for the Lord, our God, will not tolerate the perversion of justice, or partiality, or the taking of bribes.
- Be strong and courageous in your hearts,
all you who place your hope in the Lord.
