- Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
- He that hath no rule over his own spirit
is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
- All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
- Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
- Without counsel purposes are disappointed:
but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. - He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
- How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
- For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
- Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
received up into glory. - Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
- He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be burned?These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
