- I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.
- For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a person and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor follow other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
- If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
- By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.
- For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh.
- One who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
But one who is careless of conduct will die. - In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
- And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
- For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
- We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
- I have chosen the faithful way;
I have placed Your judgments before me. - Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance.
- One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!” - One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple. - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
- For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
- For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwellings.
- But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.
- Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- Teach me Your way, Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - For this is what the high and exalted One
Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says:
“I dwell in a high and holy place,
And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit
In order to revive the spirit of the lowly
And to revive the heart of the contrite.”
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.Next verse!With image
