He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Proverbs 13:3	He who guards his mouth makes his life secure, but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall. speaking wisdom life
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10	For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do. creation Jesus following
Yahweh is with you while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. 2 Chronicles 15:2b	The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will permit you to find him, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you. seeking nearness reliability
For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory. 2 Corinthians 4:17	Our temporary light afflictions are preparing for us an incomparable weight of eternal glory. eternal life suffering encouragement
But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. 1 Timothy 6:9	However, those who want riches fall into temptations and are trapped into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. money greed materialism
But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake. Philippians 1:23-24	I am pulled in opposite directions. My desire is to depart and to be with Christ, for that is far better, but, it is a more urgent need for you that I remain in the body. death life
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4	For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that by perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we may continue to have hope. Word of God encouragement hope
For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor; if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even forever more. But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction. Romans 3:21-22	But now the righteousness of God that is attested by the Law and the Prophets has been manifested apart from law: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8	Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. They will be like a tree planted by the water that spreads out its roots to the stream. When the heat comes, it does not fear; its leaves stay green. It is not concerned in a year of drought, and it never fails to bear fruit. trust blessing fruitfulness
