Lord (3/4)

Once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!
O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, filled with kindness for all who cry to you.O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain. You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
And as we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, all of us are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
However, the Lord is faithful. He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
Reflect on the Lord and his strength; seek his face continually.Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.
Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets.Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.
I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live!
Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.Rescue me, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, stand firm and immovable, devoting yourselves completely to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
Blessed are all those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways. How joyful are those who fear the Lord— all who follow his ways!
And every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord. And every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.
Seek peace with everyone, as well as the holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord.Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
Arise, O Lord! Lift up your hand, O God! Do not forget the afflicted.Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!
If the Lord does not build the house, those who construct it labor in vain. If the Lord does not guard the city, those who keep watch over it do so in vain.Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
Indeed, who is God except the Lord? Who is the Rock besides our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?
Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”
Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.
Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

He gives a home to those who are forsaken
and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation,
