- Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” - For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
- And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.

- Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. - No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
- The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing. - Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
- And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.
- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.
- For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.
- Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.
