- Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.
- We have come to know
and to believe in
the love that God has for us.
God is love,
and whoever abides in love
abides in God,
and God in him. - Do not love the world
or what is in the world.
If anyone does love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him. - You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- Therefore, we love because he first loved us.
- If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- In love there is no fear;
indeed, perfect love casts out fear,
because fear has to do with punishment,
and whoever fears
has not yet achieved perfection in love. - For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
- Everything that you do should be done in love.
- May mercy, peace, and love be granted you in abundance.
- Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love,
and the greatest of these is love. - Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
- No one has ever seen God,
but if we love one another,
God abides in us,
and his love is made complete in us. - Beloved,
let us love one another,
because love is from God.
Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. - I give you a new commandment:
love one another.
Just as I have loved you,
so you should also love one another. - If someone says, “I love God,”
but at the same time hates his brother,
he is a liar.
For whoever does not love the brother
whom he has seen
cannot love God whom he has not seen. - May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.
- May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.
- Love is patient;
love is charitable.
Love is not envious;
it does not have an inflated opinion of itself;
it is not filled with its own importance.
Love is never rude;
it does not seek its own advantage.
It is not prone to anger;
neither does it brood over setbacks. - Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
- If you keep my commandments,
you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love. - I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent.
- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love overlooks all offenses. - Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law.
It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city.When my anxious thoughts multiplied,
your comfort filled my soul with joy. Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly, as if you were doing it for the Lord and not for others, since you know that you will receive from the Lord an inheritance as your reward for you are serving the Lord Christ.Next verse!With image
