is a man whose spirit is without restraint. - As knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine, according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
- And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
- We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
- Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
- Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
- Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me.
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever.
Don’t forsake the works of your own hands. - When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
- Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.
- For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
