Mans (2/4)

I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice, and to do good as long as they live. Also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God.
He brought you low, allowing you to suffer from hunger. He then fed you with manna, something with which your fathers were not familiar, so that you might come to know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the Lord.He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.
However, the gift is not like the transgression. For if the transgression of one man led to the death of the many, how much greater was the overflowing effect of the grace of God and the gift of the one man Jesus Christ that has abounded for the many. But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.Even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
A patient man shows good sense, but a quick-tempered man displays the height of folly. He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.
But the one who did not know those wishes, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. Much will be demanded of a person to whom much has been given, and even more will be asked of a person to whom more has been entrusted. But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.
The Lord, your God, will bless you as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none. You shall rule over many nations, but none shall rule over you.For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. You will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving. The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.
All day long the godless man continues to covet, whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly. There are those who covet greedily all day long; but the righteous give and don’t withhold.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
A wealthy man pays a ransom to save his life; a poor man never has to worry about such threats. The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, but the poor hear no threats.
For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another. For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.”I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.”
Many are the plans in a human mind, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail. There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail.
Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking, but they succeed when there are many counselors.Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.
Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will persist in their evil ways. Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent, but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.
For since death came into the world through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man.For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.
The Lord God then formed a woman out of the rib that he had taken from the man. He brought her before the man. The man said, “This one is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken from man.” This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and joins with a wife, and the two become one flesh.Yahweh God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.
Or can a man walk on red-hot coals without scorching his feet?Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
For the Son of Man has come to seek out and to save what was lost. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
A man may plan his own course, but the Lord makes his steps secure.A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the wits of his neighbor.Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance.
I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.
He will never be swayed; the righteous man will be remembered forever. For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.

In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

He gives a home to those who are forsaken
and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation,
while rebels are forced to live in an arid land.
