He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again?
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.
The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise.
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.

You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.The Lord your God will bless you as he has promised. You will lend money to many nations but will never need to borrow. You will rule many nations, but they will not rule over you.

Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”
