- For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. You will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
- For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
- One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
- But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.
- Yahweh God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.
- In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

- For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?

Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die,
and of the son of man who will be made as grass? - As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
- For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
- For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
- Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - Iron sharpens iron;
so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance. - It is better to take refuge in Yahweh,
than to put confidence in man. - A perverse man stirs up strife.
A whisperer separates close friends. - God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should repent.
Has he said, and he won’t do it?
Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good? - How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to your word. - For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
- For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.
- I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.
- For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?
- Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
- Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but Yahweh weighs the hearts.
