Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Master'
- Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
- His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
- Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
- For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
- No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.” - Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.
- Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
- Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
- “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.
- For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
- Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.Next verse!With image
